Everything in the football world is fine for right now. I won't elaborate.
My research is coming along very slowly. I'm still looking for a decent organic diode. I don't think they exist. My professor said he'll get a lab notebook for me. These are the fancy kinds with graph paper and tough binding. It might even have a ribbon attached to the spine as a bookmark. How fancy would that be?
I got a new cell phone recently. Here's a picture:
It can flip 2 ways. It flips up like normal flip phones, but it can also flip to the right. This is cool because it feels like a gameboy when I'm using the side flip mode. I'm still trying to put mp3s on it so I can give different people in my phonebook different ringtones. Here's my ideas so far:
brother Sam's ringtone: Korn - Twist roommate Ricky's ringtone: "The Matrix" theme song cousin Paul's ringtone: FOX NFL theme song proofmaster Alper's ringtone: DJ Baby Anne - Mixtress
That's all I have for now. I'll think of more later. Oh yeah, I now play in an Atlanta basketball league. It's pretty cool how you do something for most of your life, and people finally start recognizing your skills.

| Create a Memory
I just watched one of the most MEMORABLE Cowboys games in the history of Cowboys games. The Cowboys (sans Romo) beat the Bills 25-24 after Romo threw 5 interceptions and lost 1 fumble. That's 6 turnovers! SIX TURNOVERS! 2 of those turnovers were ran back for touchdowns. Also, the Bills ran back a kickoff for a touchdown. That's 21 points from defense and special teams. Add a measly 3 points from the Bills offense, and you have 24 points for the Bills. Now check this out:
Bills are winning 24-13 going into the 4th quarter. The Cowboys score a field goal to make it 24-16. 14 minutes go by and the score is still 24-16. With 20 seconds left in the quarter, the Cowboys score a touchdown. Now it's 24-22 before the 2-point conversion. The Cowboys loft an ugly pass to T.O. for the 2-point conversion, but it's broken up. So the score is 24-22 and the Cowboys must try an onside kick. The Cowboys RECOVER THE ONSIDE KICK at the Bills' 47 yard line. 18 seconds left. Romo throws to T.O. for about 20 yards, but it's ruled an incomplete pass because the ball hit the ground before T.O. got possession. 13 seconds left. Romo throws to Marion Barber for 4 yards. 7 seconds left. Romo throws to Patrick Crayton for 10 yards or so. 1 second left! The Cowboys bring out rookie kicker Nick Folk to try a 53 yard field goal. The ball is snapped, the kick is up, and it is good, BUT the Bills called a time out before the ball was snapped. We have to try again. The ball is snapped, the kick is up, and IT IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! COWBOYS WIN! COWBOYS WIN! The Cowboys overcame 6 Tony Romo turnovers to win this game. Final score: 25-24.
Here's what's funny: On the Cowboys website, they conducted a poll. Here's the question, the answer choices, and results of the survey:
What will be the key to beating the Bills? A. Grab early lead 5% B. No turnovers 76% C. Rattling Edwards (Bills QB) 12% D. Stopping Lynch (Bills RB) 7%
76% of people said "no turnovers" is the key to victory. Guess what, we committed 6 sins (technically 7 when Terrence Newman fumbled, but we recovered), and we still won! I would hate to be a Bills fan (right now or in the late 80s, early 90s):

The Cowboys are playing great, and I am very happy right
now. I hope things continue the way they are. I have only a few
concerns. Wade Phillips brought up this point recently: our first four
opponents (Giants, Dolphins, Bears, and Rams) are a combined 3 - 13.
Basically, the Cowboys have been playing the suckiest teams in the entire
league! Things will change soon because we play the Patriots in week
6. Even with that tough match up, check out these crappy teams the
Cowboys are playing this year:
-Dolphins
-Rams
-Bills
-Vikings
-Eagles twice
-Redskins twice
-Jets
-Panthers
That's basically 10 easy wins right there! The Cowboys have a really easy
schedule! You could make the case that the Giants belong on this list,
but things have changed since week 1, and I don't think the Giants are crappy
anymore. We did beat them once already though.
In other news, I changed my facebook profile pic. After looking at it
every time I log into facebook, I thought about growing out my hair
again. I wanna do it because it looks pretty good in the picture.
There are several things holding me back though:
-The transition period from short to long hair looks kinda stupid.
-I will be working with professors and attending conferences as part of my
research assistantship. Short hair looks more professional.
-Ricky told me long hair is likely to fall out because of the extra forces
pulling at the root, and the hair might not grow back. This is not a big
concern for me considering no one in my family is bald (except my step dad).
There are lots of cool things too:
-It looks good in the tarzan, wild-child, rogue warrior sense.
-I get to wear a headband while playing basketball like Dirk Nowitzki.
-It's a conversation piece.
-I can pretend I'm better than other people by flipping my hair around,
carrying a snooty-looking face, and saying "hmph!"

Guess what just arrived in the mail? My new Sharp Aquos LCD TV! 37" of pure HD bliss. The tv looks absolutely incredible, and the digital reception is crystal clear. I can't wait until Sunday!
One of these days, my new Undertaker DVD will show up, and then you know whassup: BONG... BONG... The Undertaker's comin' baby, better watch out!
Six flags happens on Friday. That should be fun. I'll post about it later.

School's going great, and my research is making more sense. Yes, the redundant conversation topics HAVE BEEN COVERED ALREADY!
Recently, I came across an interesting book. Check it out:

That's right, I'm going to take over the world! Or just build awesome circuits. The projects they have in here are awesome. Here are some of the names I saw in the table of contents:
- Plasma Thermal Gun
- Wire-Exploding Project
- Magnetic Can Crushing
- Plasma Lightsaber
- Ion Ray and Charge Gun
- Phaser Pain Field Gun
These are the coolest! If you wanna see it for yourself, look for it on amazon.com and look through the pages of the book. Speaking of cool shit, my favorite wrestler of all time (yes, the fake wrestling) is The Undertaker. Once those lights go dark and the church bell tolls, you know who's coming: the phenom! The Undertaker! I decided that I wanted to see some Undertaker entrances so I bought his DVD for $12. Hell yeah. I think my next favorite wrestler is Stone Cold Steve Austin. What a badass. Aww yeah:
